ParaPro Testing Requirements

Without passing the ParaPro test, you cannot become a teachers aide. This is an assessment that offers certification for those interested in becoming a teacher’s assistant. You must take this test to ensure you meet the qualifications set forth by “No Child Left Behind.” The test consists of 90 questions, most of which are general knowledge testing. The other part of the test focuses on the application of  classroom skills. The qualifying score you must earn to pass will vary based on the state you live in. You must pay a $45 fee to take the test, within 90 days of the actual test date in order to register.
